On Saturday, September 20th 2025, the Owo community in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State came alive in a colourful atmosphere as the wife of the Governor of Enugu State,  Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah , embarked on a special  thank you visit  to the women of Owo and its environs. The visit held at Enugu State Smart Green Schools, Owo campus which drew thousands of jubilant women from different communities, was aimed at appreciating them for their unwavering support for the administration of her husband,  Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah , and to further strengthen the bond of partnership between the government and the grassroots. The First Lady, who arrived in the company of top government officials, was warmly received by a sea of excited women clad in colourful attires, singing traditional songs of praise and waving banners of solidarity.
